Job Purpose/Overview


At Lavazza, the Warehouse and Controlling Specialist is a position within the Supply Chain & Logistics department of Lavazza North America, based in the West Chester, Pennsylvania, US. This position strives to deliver a best-in-class service to the company and to the final customers, managing, and coordinating stock levels, logistics, distribution, and customs related topic. This department supports all four segments of Lavazza North America: Retail, Food Service, Office Coffee, and E-Commerce covering Canada, United States, Mexico, Caribbean and Japan. This role oversees the Warehouses of Finish Product and the Green coffee warehouse in terms of inventory and stock takes, procedures, processes, KPIs and 3PLs relation.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage inventory at three local distribution warehouses ensuring daily stock alignment
  • Manage the daily Interface between the 3PLs and Lavazza, ensuring all IDOCs are correct
  • Manage daily stock adjustments in all warehouses
  • Share SKUs master data / BOM with the 3PLs for the EDI integration
  • Mange the stock reports for the green coffee warehouse (stock management and stock take)
  • Manage the bi-annual physical inventory at local warehouses, reconciles actual stock count versus book stock
  • Oversees the correct rotation of the stock, produce reports to highlight expiry /block stock and collaborate with the internal company stakeholders on this topic
  • Control the 3PLs and green coffee warehouse invoices and costs • Manage the supply of pallets and declarations needed



Job Specifications/Qualifications


  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution, Business Management or Supply Chain is preferred
  • A minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience is required

  • Experience in Supply Chain areas is required

  • Warehouse and inventory management backround is needed

  • Metrics driven with excellent Excel and analytical skills

  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required and experience in ERP systems and with EDI is preferred

  • Physical, Mental, and Travel Requirements: Strong analytical skills, highly organized, and calm under pressure
