Job Purpose/Overview
At Lavazza, the Trainer is responsible for coordinating and conducting all aspects of client, partner & employee coffee training in theory & practice. Provides ongoing training support and contributes to the development and retention of assigned new & existing customers. Training Managers must uphold both Lavazza and Specialty Coffee Association Premier Campus certification by gaining the knowledge and experience of an Authorized Specialty Coffee Trainers (AST) training -company sponsored.

Key Responsibilities
- TRAINING CENTER OPERATIONS EXECELLENCE: Manages all Training Center operations (i.e., equipment calibration and maintenance, product and supply inventory, training scheduling and facilitation)
- MAINTAINS BRAND STANDARD: Acts as Brand Ambassador at all times, greatly impacting and influencing the Lavazza coffee culture and increasing the value of our Lavazza brand equity.
- Liaises and Professionally Organizes with distributors, sales managers and their clients Training needs before training and professionally shows up to conduct training and Professionally follows-up with key learning materials in a timely fashion.
- Communicates and educates themselves on whole bean knowledge, coffee blends, coffee brewing methods, and innovation products
- Follows the development of all Lavazza drink and food recipes
- Participates in all sales promotions effectively and efficiently
- Trains Staff and participates with PR in events such as Trade Shows, Exhibitions and Sporting events where Lavazza is a sponsor
- Coordinates third party vendor installation activities and assesses location and customer readiness for new and replacement equipment in partnership with Sales, Operations and Tech Services.
- Conducts portfolio product knowledge, quality standards, equipment, merchandise, and promotion training at account openings and to existing established customers to ensure Lavazza standards are achieved
- Ensures customer satisfaction with installation, training, and support at account opening
- ENHANCE EFFICIENCY / BUSINESS REVENUE: Drives incremental revenue contribution through upselling and introduction of Lavazza Foodservice full portfolio of coffee and allied products and equipment to accounts at time of installation and subsequent visits- Certifying the excellence of in-cup quality.
- Maintains ongoing account management services and supports regional sales managers through quality assurance visits to assigned accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and driving customer loyalty.
Job Specifications/Qualifications

Foodservice, hospitality, beverage experience (3+ years’ experience)

Confident and inspiring individual with clear communication skills

Flexible approach to work, location, and hours (Training Center based)

Fluent in Spanish and English (preferred)

Minimum 50% travel, both nationally and abroad-passport required

Some weekend work required, flexible to maintain a 5-day work week.

Demonstrated presentation and group facilitation skills

Highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven

Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
