JOB OVERVIEW
Lavazza North America is embarking on a growth plan to substantially expand our market share in the Americas. As part of this growth plan, a large focus will be on our Office Coffee Sales channel, optimizing our relationships with key distributors. Along with offering a best-in-class range of solutions for the market, Lavazza is expanding our Sales team into new territories to best support this strategic business initiative.
At Lavazza North America, the Trainer is responsible for coordinating and conducting all aspects of client, partner & employee coffee training in theory & practice. Provides ongoing training support and contributes to the development and retention of assigned new & existing customers. Lavazza North America Trainer will receive the financial and organizational support to become Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Authorized Specialty Coffee Trainers (AST) and help ensure the Lavazza training center managed maintains SCA Premier Campus certification.

JOV RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages all Training Center operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory, scheduling, and facilitation.
- Acts as a Brand Ambassador, promoting Lavazza coffee culture and enhancing brand equity.
- Educates customers on Lavazza products, quality standards, and brewing methods.
- Liaises with distributors and clients to address training needs.
- Develops and implements drink and food recipes while staying informed on industry innovations.
- Conducts training sessions on products, equipment, and promotions for new and existing accounts.
- Supports sales promotions, trade shows, exhibitions, and sponsored events.
- Coordinates third-party vendor installations and ensures customer readiness for new equipment.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through installation support, training, and ongoing account management.
- Drives revenue growth by upselling the Lavazza Foodservice portfolio and maintaining customer loyalty.
- Assists in opening new accounts, ensuring smooth installation and brand compliance.
- Introduces new programs to engage and retain customers.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Foodservice, hospitality, beverage experience (2+ years’ experience in coffee training).
- A passion for training and customer care.
- Confident and inspiring individual with clear communication skills.
- Flexible approach to work, location and hours (Training Center based).
- Bi-lingual, French is a plus.
- Minimum 50% travel, both nationally and abroad-passport required.
- Some weekend work required, flexible to maintain a 5-day work week.
- Demonstrated presentation and group facilitation skills.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 25 pounds.
