The Role


We’re hiring a Test Technician to join our Product Assurance team. As part of the quality and procurement organisation, you will support to R&D to design and undertake test protocols which validate functionality and performance of our workplace coffee machines.

Logic, rigour and attention to detail are important skills, as are creativity, learning agility and a keen interest to explore new ideas and opportunities.

Your objective is to ensure that our products, concepts and innovations deliver the expected rigour, performance and experience, from in life product enhancements, such as replacement parts, to the validation of new concepts, you will produce test data and reports which articulate your test findings.


You will be responsible for;

Leading the execution of technical product testing on coffee and vending machines including:

  • Performing risk assessments
  • Developing test plans
  • Supporting the development of project test protocols
  • Managing samples, prototypes and preparing testing
  • Organising workload and lab activities according to business priorities
  • Detailed technical report writing, capturing results and feedback for quality and performance
  • Reviewing and updating product test protocols
  • Identifying, recommending and implementing improvements to testing protocols and ways of working.


The successful candidate will;

  • have an HND/HNC in a science or engineering discipline
  • be a self-starter mentality, able to prioritise, organise and manage their time across multiple projects
  • have a natural curiosity and demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
  • have a technical literacy to undertake detailed report writing
  • have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working to 3 standard deviations
