JOB OVERVIEW
At Lavazza North America, the Technical Services Equipment Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of equipment parts across the service network. This includes inventory management, procurement, vendor coordination, and strategic planning to ensure timely availability of parts for service operations. The role supports both field and back-office teams and plays a critical role in maintaining asset reliability, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the parts management strategy, including forecasting, procurement, and inventory optimization.
- Oversee the processing of service, maintenance, and parts invoices; resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for parts supply and service.
- Monitor and track parts usage by location, equipment type, and service provider; prepare regular maintenance and cost analysis reports.
- Collaborate with Technical Service Specialists, Dispatchers, and Field Technicians to ensure parts availability and timely service delivery.
- Support Salesforce CRM implementation and data integrity for parts and equipment.
- Issue and reconcile Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company policy and accounting systems.
- Develop and maintain KPIs related to parts performance, cost efficiency, and service quality.
- Lead initiatives to improve parts-related processes, including automation, reporting, and compliance.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in parts management, technical services, or supply chain operations
- Prior experience with SAP, Salesforce, and dispatching software
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience in B2B service environments and distributor networks is a plus
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel up to 30% for site visits, vendor meetings, and service audits
