OVERVIEW

At Lavazza North America, the Technical Service Equipment Specialist manages the equipment accounts payable and consignment process by collecting invoices from third party equipment vendors, coding and entering invoices into the companies’ systems. This role will also reconcile invoices and ensure accuracy and track assets by location and operator/vendor utilizing company systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect and confirm all invoices have appropriate documentation, backup, and approvals.
  • Process service, maintenance, and equipment and/or parts related invoices, then resolve any issues or concerns.  
  • Identify and close gaps in Equipment master data for Sales force implementation project.
  • Process invoices in a timely, accurate manner according to company SOPs.
  • Prepare all backup for attachments relevant to service calls, maintenance, and parts.
  • Prepare special reporting as required by management and reconciliation of inventory as directed
  • Develop relevant reports and analyses to internal customers as directed.
  • Identify, measure, and analyze key cost drivers and cost centers.
  • Monitor and track equipment and service by customer, type and prepare regular maintenance analysis.
  • Issue POs in accordance with company policy and accounting system.
  • Assist LTS team as appropriate and complete other projects as instructed by supervisor.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • GED or equivalent High School Degree/ Technical
  • Knowledge and prior experience in SAP 
  • Problem-Solving— resolve problems in a timely manner and analyze information skillfully. 
  • Customer Service— manage difficult customer situations, respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service. 
  • Oral Communication— speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations. 
  • Planning/Organizing— prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently. 
  • Quality—demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality. 
  • Adaptability—adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
  • Observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office systems required including basic SAP navigation
  • Certified in foodservice safety and other required certifications and licenses that may be required, or ability to obtain the same

PHYSICAL/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimal travel required, less than 5% annually
