JOB OVERVIEW
At Lavazza North America, The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in the growth strategy for the fastest growing market, North America. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, evaluating, and referring candidates for open positions through recruiting websites, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, and other sourcing methods. Contacts candidates to ascertain fit, schedules interviews, receives and retains feedback, extends offers and negotiates compensation. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
This person also plays a key role in promoting Lavazza’s Talent Brand through recruiting events and recruiting portal presence. A key focus area for this role will be to build a university recruiting and talent acquisition plan that may or may not include Internship, Co-Op programs. Additionally, this person will scan the market to identify new, contemporary channels for sourcing talent.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full life cycle recruiting process from posting roles, to extending offers by partnering with the HR Business Partners and Coordinator to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Build strategic talent pipelines, effective recruitment marketing campaigns, and positive relationships with workforce development partners.
- Partner closely with agency recruiting partners to fill open roles, as needed.
- Create, maintain, and analyse talent acquisition KPIs to ensure progress
- Provide direction to hiring managers for interviewing candidates
- Determine appropriate recruiting sources based upon recruiting need (skills needed, urgency of need, experience with sources, etc.). Support “promote from within” policy through internal referral promotion.
- Produce regular reports on progress against key KPIs
- Establish and build a successful campus recruiting strategy with local universities.
- Collaborate and partner with hiring managers on best recruiting practices and processes to provide guidance, support, and recommendations on candidates.
- Create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- 3+ years of professional recruiting experience including successful experience recruiting in consulting, staffing and corporate environments.
- Experience in utilizing current sourcing and recruiting methods and tools including but not limited to social media tools like LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogs, etc
- Experience recruiting for roles up to Senior level
- Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to act swiftly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and processes
- Effective oral/written communication skills, as well as consultative skills with the ability to understand the needs and urgency of assigned positions are essential.
- A strong team player attitude fostering strong working relationships across teams and departments.
- Open and willing attitude, able to give and receive feedback in a positive and productive manner.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
