The chosen candidate will be included in the Portfolio Strategy Function and will be responsible for managing the development of coffee machines for the home channel, in line with the Brand strategy defined globally.


Position summary


The Product Development stands for the development and execution of the Home Single Serve System strategy to secure a healthy growth of the entire portfolio by:


  • Managing our NPI & NPD pipelines and roadmap following the company process.
  • Managing our product portfolio from a profit, branding, life cycle and complexity point of view.
  • Collaborating with the Brand Marketing and Trade Marketing Dept. to understand our market needs & deliver the Lavazza Group Brands & Products Experience.


Main responsibilities


  • Design and develop the medium-long term years plan for Home Coffee Single Serve Machine Business, based on solid customer/consumers insights, trends, evolution and needs.
  • Develop product marketing strategies including targeting, positioning, messaging, pricing, and rollout sequencing with goals of driving acquisition and growing revenue.
  • Set up the design brief and the product development project specification 
  • Collect and analyze local product information, competitor actions and general market feedback to identify potential opportunities.




  • 4/5 years of product marketing experience (Ideally in Small/Big Domestic Appliances successful brands, leader in its segment; coffee/FMCG company experience will be a plus).
  • Master’s degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize high-impact activities and keep complicated projects moving forward 
  • Track record of successfully influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent level of English, both written and spoken. Any other European language will be a plus.
  • Good knowledge of the market (customers, channels, competition and similar)
  • Other Tools: Microsoft Office, SAP/GFK & Nielsen Data
