Product Manager (m/w/d)



This is a permanent, full-time position in Frankfurt am Main to be filled as soon as possible.



Your main responsibilities


  • Responsible for Lavazza's portfolio strategy and products, including P&L management, in Germany & Austria
  • Support in the definition and implementation of online and offline media plans
  • Responsible for all BTL activations Germany for own portfolio
  • Generation of consumer / market insights, including:
    • Knowledge of market development and competition based on market data (Nielsen, GFK)
    • Identification of white spots / business opportunities
    • Determine knowledge gaps and and make recommendations for market research
  • (New) product launches:
    • Implementation strategy
    • Consumer activation BTL
    • Adaptation / development of communication campaigns
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with HQ to influence and ensure alignment
  • Coordinate with partner agencies
  • Create and deliver presentations to leadership team
  • Manage SAP invoicing and reporting, responsible for portfolio budgets





  • Develop a winning midterm portfolio strategy and develop strong BTL activation plans in order to reach new consumers
  • Strong advocate for 'Insights into Action' mindset across entire organization
  • Strong team engagement and cross department collaboration



Professional experience


  • Approximately 2-3 years of professional experience in FMCG with a focus on marketing / brand marketing, providing the complete marketing toolkit for a company that not only follows a global strategy, but also creates one locally
  • Good trade marketing skills and knowledge of the FMCG trade in the off- and on-trade is desirable
  • Expertise in the German FMCG market, ideally with an existing network, is a must
  • Knowledge in brand introduction and product development
  • Strong analytical capabilities, creativity and ability to continuously improve processes
  • Experience working effectively in a diverse matrix organization
  • University degree in business administration or a related field, fluent in German and English
