JOB OVERVIEW
At Lavazza North America, the Innovation and Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the portfolio and new product development (NPD) for the Office Coffee Service (OCS) channel for the U.S. and Canada. This individual will oversee new products from inception to business case, including progress monitoring throughout development and building selling stories and launch toolkits for the commercial strategy and sales teams. This individual will not only work directly with the Category Manager but also support the full marketing team in product and portfolio related communication needs. Additionally, they will work across many departments such as Research and Development, Commercial Strategy, and PMO to facilitate communication and deliver company objectives related to NPDs and the portfolio.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Category Manager in analyzing retail and syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen) to identify trends, whitespace opportunities, and category performance insights related to new product launches and related launch plans.
- Support OCS Innovation and portfolio activities, including business requirement definition, business case development, and on-going marketing project support
- In collaboration with the Category Manager, translate data into actionable selling stories for internal teams and customer-facing sales teams and distributors.

Manage the administrative and operational components of product innovation, including SKU setup, documentation, briefs, and forms required to bring new products to market.

Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, PMO, Brand, and Communications teams to progress innovation initiatives and ensure readiness for launch.
- Help build the Flavia portfolio management strategy, identifying new brand partnership opportunities and leading the execution of the innovation process.
- Help define the Flavia portfolio pricing strategy with the goal of maximizing marginality and boosting assortment velocities.
- Build Assortment & Merchandising guidelines, providing local commercial and sales teams with the base to determine assortment priorities and distribution targets
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Four year degree in Marketing, Analytics, or Business preferred from an accredited instituion or equivalent work experience

2+ years of experience in merchandising, category management, sales, or product/innovation support—CPG preferred; Food & Beverage is a strong plus. (Internship experience considered.)

Strong analytical skill set with experience working with syndicated retail data (IRI, Nielsen).
- Experience with Power BI a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, pivot quickly, and operate within both defined and evolving strategies.
- Exposure to innovation processes, product lifecycle support, or cross-functional project work ideal.
- Ability to travel as needed up to 10% of time
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
