JOB OVERVIEW

Lavazza North America, makers of Lavazza Roast & Ground Coffee along with FLAVIA®, is leading the coffee revolution. The world’s leading Brew-by-Pack refreshment system, the Flavia Brewing System (FBS) created Brew-by-Pack technology in 1983, and the company was the first to pioneer Filterpack packaging to retain freshness, eliminate residual flavor, provide perfect-portion size, and protect contents from sunlight, oxygen and other harmful elements. Today, Lavazza North America continues that tradition and has added retail whole beans and ground coffee to its portfolio.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that food safety and quality are verified in every step of our process to ensure consumer satisfaction.  The Operations Quality Inspector will perform incoming material inspections, along with product inspection of roasting, grinding and packaging operations.  Aid in the resolution of quality matters by liaising with Supply, R&D and Supplier Quality Assurance and manage continuous improvement opportunities through corrective actions.
