OVERVIEW
The Lavazza IT Country Manager is responsible under the direction of the Group IT function for the site support and IT infrastructure of the North America business units. The scope of this position includes office sites located in West Chester, PA, New York City and the Training Centers located in Miami, Toronto, LA, and Chicago. The IT Country Manager ensures that the North American Business has the necessary IT equipment and services to perform their tasks securely, efficiently, and effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the IT operations and support activities, including laptops and mobile phones life-cycle, network/comms equipment, VM server environments, local applications, O365, Active Directory, SCCM, ServiceNow, SIP Phone & Call Center Network.
- Coordinate/support the IT infrastructure projects and initiatives for the North America business units, liaising with the Lavazza Central IT teams and external vendors.
- Manage a team of two site support analysts located in the West Chester and New York City offices.
- Ensure compliance with the Lavazza Global IT & Security policies and procedures.
- Assist with communication and marketing of Lavazza Global IT initiatives, services, and strategies to the Lavazza North America business.
- Partners with IT project teams to assist with infrastructure requirements and help successfully deliver Business Solutions & Services, in alignment with Global IT Strategic Framework.
- Financial accountability for the Lavazza North America IT budget. This includes providing an annual financial operating and capital forecast plan. Manage the local vendors, including raising purchase orders for services, hardware purchases, 3rd party IT partners, and application subscriptions. Monthly tracking & reporting actual spend versus budget.
- Responsible for Incident, Problem, and Change management process for the North America region. Act as the local business point of contact for escalation for areas managed by other IT teams. Monitor and report on the local IT performance and service level agreements.
- Identify and implement opportunities for IT improvements and innovation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performance IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction in line with Lavazza values.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (IT degree preferred)
- 2-5 years working in an IT related role
- Managing IT Process within IT Service Management principles
- IT Support and/or development experience
- Technical understanding of IT Infrastructure and cybersecurity aspects
- Project management experience
- Customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationships including leadership team, department heads, external partners, and remote IT team members located in our Turin Headquarters.
- Sound understanding of a company’s business and technology strategies and established business process areas and the ways in which technology may impact and enhance business processes.
- Able to evaluate technology and process alternatives.
- Excellent written and verbal skills as well as high interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem analysis, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Should have a proven track record of delivering results and management in some of the following areas: support business as usual, projects management, budget management.
