We are looking for a



National Key Account Manager Rewe Group (m/w/d)


This is a permanent, full-time position in Frankfurt to be filled as soon as possible.



Your main responsibilities:


  • Defines and manages all commercial activities with each customer/region in line with the annual commercial plan for the entire product range
  • Develops and delivers annual/midyear agreements for the assigned customers with the objective to reach customer-specific budget (volume/turnover and distribution targets). Ensures an effective assortment and activation plan in line with agreed terms and conditions
  • Provides regular analysis on customer performance (turnover, margin, growth) to identify gaps and opportunities; creates insight-based initiatives to drive customer development and future customer growth (full P&L responsibility)
  • Owns the monthly/annual forecasting and demand planning process for assigned customers in strong collaboration with Finance and Supply Chain teams
  • In collaboration with Marketing & Business Development, identifies trends within the coffee category and transforms them into business opportunities for Lavazza at his/her customers
  • Manages customer budgets within the agreed framework; escalates deviations timely and in a profound manner; continuously seeks to drive profitable customer growth
  • Leads and develops his/her team to great performance and strongly collaborates with his/her stakeholders in Marketing/Trade Marketing/Finance and Operations





  • Sales volume, revenue/gross margin to ensure continued and profitable growth of assigned customer(s)
  • Quantitative and qualitative objectives for assortment, distribution, promotion and activation
  • Market entry for Lavazza brand in dedicated Drug & Alternative customers
  • Cross-departmental collaboration to reach joint goals and further develop Lavazza brand
  • Strong team engagement, measure by team survey; being part of the Lavazza sales talent pipeline



Professional experience


  • 3-4 years of Key Account experience, in FMCG
  • Proven track record of managing customer agreements/annual negotitations and successfully developing a brand/product range
  • Cross-functional experience in Category Management is a benefit
  • Strong financial acumen
  • University degree (or similar) in business administration or related areas; fluent in German & English
