Job Purpose/Overview


At Lavazza, the Maintenance Planner schedules maintenance, contractors and calibrations in a way that minimizes equipment downtime and impact on production.

 

Location: West Chester, PA

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage the preventative maintenance (PM) system by maintaining, updating, scheduling, coordinating, assigning, entering completed PM activities, and providing reports utilizing the CMMS systems
  • Work directly with vendors, contractors, maintenance and purchasing to assist with planning and prioritizing maintenance work.
  • Determines and requisitions materials needed for work requests.
  • Development and participate in yearly review of the preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance monitoring programs for all equipment.
  • Attend weekly scheduling meeting and participate in internal / external company audits.
  • Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (SAP) to effectively manage work to achieve the highest level of efficiency and utilization in the most cost-efficient manner.
  • Manage the operations calibration system by maintaining, scheduling, and coordinating calibration activities for the critical factory instruments. 
  • Generate reports on work order Completion, Backlog, and Schedule Compliance to ensure health of maintenance systems.
  • Track and expedite open tasks with responsible team members.
  • Be the SAP support person for the maintenance team.
  • All other tasks as required.

 


Job Specifications/Qualifications

 

  • Associates technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and walk/stand for long periods
  • Proven punctuality and attendance record
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and background screen
  • Computer skills - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
  • SAP experience – Maintenance Module (Required)
