OVERVIEW
Lavazza North America strives to deliver a best-in-class service to our customers, managing and coordinating stock levels, logistics, distribution, and customs. The Logistics Stock & Flow Specialist will manage the flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics systems and processes, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to take initiative and work independently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and monitor the flow of goods from local production and suppliers to warehouses.
- Process daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock availability, stock rejections and stock levels.
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics and service levels.
- Perform activities in support of cost saving initiatives.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of records.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Identify and communicate stock risks to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with demand planning and supply channels to maintain stock levels and allocation accuracy.
- Initiate and monitor internal stock transfers between warehouses.
- Plan reworking activities aligned with forecasted demand and stock levels.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in logistics or supply chain
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Knowledge of logistics systems and processes. Understanding of inventory management and forecasting
- Metrics driven with strong analytical and Excel skills
- Project management experience is preferred
- Experience in WMS System, ERP System (SAP) and Power BI Tools
PHYSICAL/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to walk/stand for long periods
- Travel to onsite suppliers may be required as needed
