Shift Production Lead

MISSION

'The role is responsible for managing manufacturing operations within the production line of responsibility, ensuring alignment with defined production schedules and targets. This involves managing and coordinating all operational activities within the production line, including shift arrangement and maintenance activities, and collaborating with the Production Manager to optimize production factors. Further, the role assists in defining investment and maintenance budgets by providing insights into operational needs, and ensuring compliance of activities with relevant laws and regulations. Lastly, the role requires tracking KPIs and metrics to measure the performance of production lines, identifying areas for improvement, and providing comprehensive reports to the Production Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Is full end-to-end responsible on semi / finished products for the production line of responsibility, collaborating with the unit Production Manager to ensure alignment with production schedules and targets;
2. Manages and coordinates all the operational activities and efforts of the production line operators, including shift arrangements and maintenance schedules, to ensure production line processes run smoothly and efficiently;
3. Collaborates with the unit Production Manager to define and implement activities for the optimization of the production factors for the line (e.g., materials, methods, labour force, and machinery) to maximize efficiency and reduce waste;
4. Assists the unit Production Manager in defining investment and maintenance budgets for the production line, providing insight into operational needs and efficiency improvements;
5. Represents a point of contact for all matters and issues related to the production line of responsibility, effectively managing interruptions or slowdowns;
6. Ensures all operational activities within the production line of responsibility comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., hygiene, safety standards);
7. Keeps track of KPIs and metrics to measure the performance of the production line of responsibility, identifying variances and areas for improvement, and providing reports to the Production Manager.
