MISSION
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
2. Works with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Production) to align on packaging requirements and contributing to technical and financial feasibility assessment of proposed packaging solutions;
3. Supports the development of packaging prototypes, including the creation and assessment of physical prototypes to ensure they meet quality standards, requirements and effectiveness in preserving product integrity and appeal;
4. Supports the industrialization process for packaging materials, including the translation of packaging concepts into technical specifications, and assisting in the development of a feasible and scalable production process that meets quality and efficiency targets;
5. Supports and maintains relationships with packaging partners and suppliers, preparing proposals, ensuring adherence to contract terms and conditions throughout the relationship, and tracking performance;
6. Assists the development of initiatives aimed at enhancing packaging materials (e.g., grammage, structure, etc.) and production processes (e.g., reducing scrap, increasing production speed, reducing sealing temperature), working with relevant cross-functional teams (e.g., Production, Engineering) to support the identification of inefficiencies and reporting findings to management;
7. Ensures packaging development activities and initiatives comply with relevant industry laws, regulations, and standards;
8. Keeps track of KPIs and metrics to measure packaging development activities performance, providing reports with variances and key insights to management for decision making;
9. Conducts research and analysis on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement or innovation on packaging solutions, providing relevant updates to management.
