MISSION

'The role is responsible for managing the development of innovative and high-quality green coffee and food products, ensuring alignment with market trends, consumer preferences, and company brand identity. This involves managing the ideation of innovative green coffee and food product concepts, defining requirements, evaluating feasibility, and identifying suitable sources of high-quality raw materials. Further, the role entails organizing sensory evaluation panels to ensure adherence to taste and quality standards, and managing the industrialization process after validation. Lastly, the role entails monitoring KPIs and metrics to evaluate performance, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously optimize product development initiatives and process, and providing recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manages green coffee and food product development projects from inception to market launch, coordinating with various teams and departments, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards, and addressing any challenges arising during the development process;
2. Manages the ideation and development of innovative food product concepts, considering market trends, consumer behavior, and alignment with company brand identity;
3. Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Production, Product Development) to define product development requirements (e.g., recipe, ingredients), evaluate technical and financial feasibility, and ensure alignment with overall brand and product strategy;
4. Identifies and establishes relationships with suppliers, managing supplier scouting to select the most suitable sources for high-quality raw materials, ensuring alignment with the company's quality and sustainability standards;
5. Collaborates with sensory evaluation teams to implement a rigorous taste testing process to ensure developed products meets company's high standards of quality and taste, and validates product formulations;
6. Manages the industrialization process, collaborating with cross- functional teams (e.g., Production) to translate the product concept into feasible and scalable production processes, including pre-industrial validation, coding, scheduling, and definition of production processes and standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure adherence to quality standards and objectives;
4. Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., Production) to continuously evaluate the interaction between coffee machines or production processes and coffee product characteristics, developing a comprehensive understanding of how the different phases of the coffee processing affect coffee properties and seeking for optimization;
8. Ensures food product development activities and initiatives comply with relevant industry laws, regulations, and standards;
9. Monitors KPIs and metrics to evaluate green coffee and food product development and processes performance, identifying areas for improvements and providing reports with recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders for decision making;
8. Continuously monitors industry trends and emerging technologies, actively seeking opportunities for improvement or innovation in green coffee and food product development and processes, and providing recommendations to senior management to maintain a competitive edge.
