Key Account Manager (m/w/d) E-Commerce



This is a permanent, full-time position based in Frankfurt am Main to be filled as soon as possible.



The Key Account Manager (m/w/d) E-Commerce is responsible for our New Channel & Marketplace customers in Germany. As part of our E-Commerce Sales Team the position holder (m/w/d) is supporting the National KAM E-Commerce to manage the operational business for Amazon and our D2C website. In addition, the successful incumbent develops business and manages a set of 3rd party platforms relevant for the commercialization of our coffee portfolio. Reporting to the Customer Group Manager, the position holder (m/w/d) is driving the overall E-Commerce strategy together with the cross functional Digital Team. The position holder (m/w/d) is responsible to set up a local reporting framework for our E-Commerce business.

The position holder (m/w/d) is expected to bring a sound understanding in an E-Commerce related field. Self-motivation, the ability and willingness to work cross-functional with teams and the passion to drive new business opportunities will help the candidate to succeed in this position.


Your main responsibilities

  • Expand collaboration with our New Channel & Marketplace customers and manage all commercial activities to implement the overall Lavazza E-Commerce strategy
  • Analyze the market and identify new business opportunities in assigned areas. Proactively acquire new customers and build sustainable business relationships to drive Lavazza’s E-Commerce activities beyond current level
  • Implement our content strategy towards the customers and create a real Lavazza experience on customer platforms
  • Be responsible for the daily commercial activities of our Lavazza E-Store
  • Support the National KAM E-Commerce in the operational business and in managing strategic E-Commerce projects
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders in Marketing, Finance and Operations
  • Provide regular analysis on customer performance and propose initiatives to grow Lavazza’s presence and sales in assigned E-Commerce channels
  • Create decision proposals for our management team



Professional experience


  • Preferred Bachelor or equivalent degree
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a related field; e.g. E-Commerce, Sales, Marketing or Media
  • Good analytical capabilities, enjoying to set-up new ways of working with customers and the ability to utilize new business opportunities
  • Digital native with a sound understanding of digital platforms; e.g. E-Commerce platforms as Amazon and/or Social Media platforms such as Instagram
  • Experience in working in a multidisciplinary and growing organization (e.g. Startup, Agency, newly created department)
  • Fluent in German & English as our company language in Germany is German, but communication with HQ and/or customers are in English
