JOB OVERVIEW

At Lavazza North America, the HR Business Partner role provides consultation and support to their assigned client groups, driving the people strategy, organizational development, and HR initiatives. The HRBP is strategic role that will develop trusted partnership and coaching relationships with leaders and team that increases their overall department contributions to the business. The HRBP is an individual contributor who reports to the HR Manager and has several assigned client groups across the organization {Sales, Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Sales Operations, and Legal}.  This role requires excellent partnership with its COE partners including Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition with both local and HQ (Turin, Italy) teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with associates and people managers (generally Manager and Director level) to formulate and execute function and business priorities related to talent, culture, and organization needs.
  • Executes human resource programs including, but not limited to, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity; and training and development.
  • Partners with recruiting and hiring managers to interview and hire new associates.
  • Participates in succession and talent planning in partnership with client groups.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices for assigned client groups.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources; and communicates changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
  • Executes assigned people-related projects and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant human resource experience required, including demonstrated success directly supporting and partnering with functional client groups.
  • Experience partnering and influencing leaders in the CPG Sales industry.
  • Basic knowledge of key compensation, talent, and employee relations programs and practices
  • Experience partnering with Corporate and Operating / Supply Chain functions preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with client groups, through strong communication and collaboration.
  • Experience executing people-related projects that contributed to company culture and other key business priorities preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Experience with Success Factors preferred.

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
