Head of Consumer Marketing (m/w/d)

 

 

This is a permanent, full-time position in Frankfurt to be filled as soon as possible.

 

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

  • Developing a marketing and brand portfolio strategy for the home business of the German & Austian markets
  • Managing the development of launch plans for new products and ranges
  • Identification of strategic and tactical opportunities for categories, and recommendations for portfolio development
  • Administration and control of the budget and the marketing plan for consumer media in Germany & Austria, as well as all BTL activation in Germany
  • Strong cooperation and guidance of the international marketing team to steer the portfolio development and create synergies of scale across markets
  • Management of the home media plan Germany & Austria in coordination with the HQ media team and the marketing director
  • Development of promotion, PR and brand activation plans
  • Close cooperation with the off-trade sales and trade marketing teams
  • Coaching and motivating a team of product managers and media managers
  • Efficient management of the consumer marketing budget
  • Profound knowledge of food trends, as well as deep analyses of business, consumer, shopper, market data and competition data

 

 

Deliverables:

 

  • Develop a winning midterm media- and portfolio strategy for the Home Business to reach new consumers
  • Step up analytical and conceptual capabilities within the team; strong advocate for "insights into Action mindset" across entire organization
  • Strong team engagement, cross-department collaboration, measure by team survey

 

 

Professional & leadership experience:

 

  • Approximately 3-6 years of professional experience in FMCG with a focus on consumer marketing, providing the whole marketing tool-kit at a company that not only follows a global marketing strategy, but creates it locally
  • Ability to think conceptually while delivering world class implementation
  • Sound knowledge of the German & Austian market / on-/off-trade environment and experience in working effectively in a diverse matrix organization
  • Strong analytical capabilities, creativity and ability to continuously improve processes
  • Expertise in the German FMCG market, and ideally an existing network within the consumer marketing community are preferred
  • Experience with managing a team and leading change
  • University degree in business administration or a related field; fluent in German & English, Italian is a plus
