Sensory & Innovation Intern

We are the Lavazza HR Talent Acquisition Team, and we’re looking for a Sensory & Innovation Intern to join our Innovation Center in Turin.
You will become part of our Sensory & Shelf Life Team within the R&D Department, where you’ll support sensory analysis activities, manage tasting sessions, prepare samples, and process data — all contributing to a deeper understanding of coffee from a sensory and innovation perspective.

📊 Your day-to-day activities:

• Carry out bibliographic research
• Support the creation of analytical and experimental plans
• Assist in practical tasting activities and sample preparation
• Support internal assessor training and sample analysis
• Collect, organize, and process data to contribute to report drafting
• Collaborate with the Sensory Manager and team in the daily management of tasting panels

💡 Who we’re looking for:

• You’re available for a six-month internship with full-time commitment. Starting date: March 2026
• You hold a Degree in Food Science / Food Technology
• You’ re fluent in Italian and English
• You’ve probably had an international experience – language course or exchange programme? Way to go!
• You’re passionate about sensory analysis and eager to learn through hands-on experience
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy working in an extended international team
• You’re creative, proactive, and confident with Excel and PowerPoint
