Secondary Pack Manager
We are looking for a Secondary Pack Manager to joi our Packaging Team. The successful candidate will manage the entire packaging development process, from initial concept to production. This involves managing the development and execution of innovative packaging solutions that align with market trends, consumer behavior, managing budget and coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on packaging requirements and evaluating technical and financial feasibility of projects.
📊 Your day-to-day activities:
- Oversees the development and implementation of packaging concepts for new products and improvements to existing solutions, ensuring alignment with market trends, consumer behavior, and brand identity.
- Manages the budget for packaging development projects, ensuring resources are used efficiently and costs remain within approved limits.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Production) to align on packaging requirements and assess the technical and financial feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Oversees the creation and evaluation of packaging prototypes, ensuring they meet quality standards, functional requirements, and product protection needs, and implements adjustments when necessary.
- Manages the industrialization of packaging materials by translating concepts into technical specifications and ensuring the production process is feasible, scalable, and meets quality and efficiency targets.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with packaging partners and suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, resolving issues, and driving performance improvements.
- Leads initiatives to enhance packaging materials (e.g., grammage, structure) and production processes (e.g., reducing scrap, increasing speed, lowering sealing temperatures), working with relevant teams to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
- Ensures all packaging development activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Tracks KPIs and performance metrics related to packaging development, identifying improvement opportunities and preparing reports with recommendations for senior management.
- Stays up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation or improvement in packaging, providing recommendations to senior management.

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the food & beverage industry
- Result oriented & Accountable
- Strong leadership skills
- Available to work in Turin (remote working is possible according to company policy)
- Fluent English
