Production Planner
As Production Planner you will actively support the production planning process, aimed at aligning manufacturing outputs with commercial demands while optimizing production efficiency. This involves assisting in the development of long and medium-term production plans based on demand forecasts, supporting the distribution of production volumes across internal and external manufacturing facilities. You will track KPIs and metrics to measure production performance against defined plans, preparing reports with key insights for management, and providing relevant updates about latest trends and best practices relevant to production planning and methodologies.
📊 Your Day-to-day Activities
- Collaborate with Commercial Demand Planning teams to gather and analyze demand forecasts by Product and Country, developing long / medium-term Production Plans accordingly
- Allocate production volumes among in-house manufacturing facilities and third-party manufactures, providing detailed analyses and reports on cost efficiency, capacity constraints, quality standards, and lead time requirements
- Assist in managing production budget, tracking production costs and resource allocations (e.g., machinery, labor, and materials) to help optimize production efficiency
- Support coordination of the planning of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and packaging to ensure their availability aligns with forecasted production volumes and facilitating efficient and timely manufacturing processes
- Support coordination with cross-functional teams (e.g., Research and Development, Marketing) to align production planning with new product development and market launch
- Review production plans to incorporate adjustments for demand fluctuations, production capabilities, or external factors that may impact production timelines or inventory levels
- Keep track of KPIs and metrics to measure production performance against defined plans, preparing reports with key insights to management for decision-making

Salary And Benefits
- The role is classified at level 2°, CCNL Industria Alimentare
- Initial annual gross salary of minimum € 45.000
- Premio per Obiettivi (PPO) equal to € 2500 at target level for 2026
