Packaging & Materials Buyer
We're looking for a Packaging & Materials Buyer to join or Quality & Procurement Department at Nuvola, our HQ in Turin.
In accordance with the Procurement organisation guidelines and in collaboration with the Category Manager, the buyer is responsible for the activities inherent to the purchasing process in line with the economic and development objectives of the category.
This involves managing the end-to-end purchase-to-pay processes based on sourcing and purchasing priorities, creating and processing orders accurately and timely. The role will be involved in sourcing and suppliers management following company best practice, with the aim of targeting price, time and delivery quality.
📊 Your day-to-day activities:
- Manages the Purchase-to-Pay process, ensuring excellent results from RDA processing to purchase order issuance throughout their life cycle in compliance with company procedures
- Management of new supplier sourcing activities / existing supply base benchmarks via RFQ
- Autonomous management of negotiation processes
- Contributes to the definition and monitoring of the budget in accordance with the strategies defined by Category Managers
- Cross-functional activities with the main stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply at warehouses and plants
- Analysis of the main KPI market trends to support negotiation with suppliers and category budget strategies
- Guarantees high delivery standards and service levels to internal customers, supporting company needs complying with business competitiveness & sustainability
💡 Who we’re looking for
- A degree in Economics or Engineering
- At least 2 years in similar roles in the industrial sector (automotive, industrial, packaging, food) with proven negotiation skills (economic/terms of supply), supplier scouting, market trend analysis
- You're fluent in English and Italian
- You have knowledge of IT Systems and Purchasing Negotiation

Salary And Benefits
The role is classified at Level 2 under the Italian CCNL Industria Alimentare
Initial annual gross salary of minimum € 45.000
Premio per Obiettivi (PPO) equal to € 2.500 at target level for 2026
