Italy FS Business Developer

We are looking for an Italy FS Business Developer to join our Away From Home Sales Department in Milan.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing the business within the assigned territory, acquiring new customers and distributors, managing the existing customer portfolio, and ensuring excellent service levels while driving sustainable and profitable growth.

 

☕ Your day-to-day activities:

  • Manage and develop an assigned portfolio of customers through regular field visits and relationship management
  • Identify new business opportunities through prospecting activities and territory development
  • Drive cross-selling initiatives and expand existing customer relationships
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and manage the acquisition of new customers
  • Analyze sales performance and continuously monitor market trends within the assigned area
  • Guarantee a high level of customer satisfaction through regular visits, logistics checks, technical assistance coordination and product quality monitoring
  • Collaborate closely with the District Manager and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless customer support
  • Monitor customer profitability and Gross Profit targets, proactively identifying and implementing corrective actions when needed

 

💡 Who we’re looking for:

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Trade Marketing or related fields
  • You have 1-2 years of sales experience, ideally within the Horeca sector
  • Previous experience in the beverage industry is considered a plus
  • Experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management or Channel Management within FMCG environments is a plus.
  • You have strong negotiation, planning and relationship management skills
  • You have good knowledge of the Milano area and its Horeca landscape
  • You are proactive, organized and comfortable working autonomously in the field
