Description
We’re looking for a Group Trade Compliance Manager to help strengthen and oversee global customs and trade compliance within an international, cross-functional environment. You’ll work at the intersection of tax, supply chain and business, supporting consistent governance across countries and helping the organization stay ahead of regulatory change
📊 Your day-to-day activities
- Support the supervision of global customs & trade compliance operations, ensuring adherence to customs regulations, import VAT and other indirect
- Help develop, implement and continuously improve the import/export compliance framework, translating regulations into practical policies and operating guidelines
- Oversee customs authorizations and special procedures (e.g., special regimes) and support governance alignment across jurisdictions
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with both tax and customs implications, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and international entities
- Act as a key interface with Customs Authorities, coordinating audits, inspections and related compliance activities
✨What you’ll bring
- 7+ years of experience in customs departments within multinational companies
- Strong, hands-on expertise in customs regulations and customs governance, including goods classification and compliance processes
- Strong expertise in HS codes, rules of origin, customs valuation, and indirect taxes (VAT and other indirect levies such as plastic tax), ensuring data accuracy, alignment, and regular updates, as well as timely insights on duties and regulatory impacts for new initiatives.
- AEO certification (Master Program – “AEO Referent”) is required; exposure to EUDR-related requirements is considered a plus.
- Experience acting as a trusted point of reference for internal stakeholders and international subsidiaries, supporting alignment, consistency, and compliance on customs topics.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across tax, customs, supply chain functions, and with customs authorities in an international context;
- Fluent English is required.
