Food Technologies Specialist

We're looking for a Food Technologies Specialist to join the Food Technologies team within our R&D Department.

The candidate, having a good knowledge of the industrial technologies applied to food manufacturing, will independently follow the progress of the projects, directly taking care of the study and interpretation of the results.

📊 Your day-to-day activities

• Lead or support product development (NPD) projects during development, pre-industrialization, and industrialization phases, in close collaboration with internal and external partners
• Define product specifications (e.g., roasting, grinding, degassing)
• Prototype, test, and validate product performance (e.g., cup yield, thermo-hydraulic behavior)
• Lead and plan R&D Food technologies laboratory activities
• Monitor project progress through data analysis, result summaries, and technical reporting
• Support continuous improvement of existing products and processes
• Design tests and methods to develop new products and processes
• Scout and evaluate innovative technologies, materials, and raw materials to improve sustainability, cost-efficiency, and performance
• Maintain and develop a network of suppliers, partners, and external labs for testing, analysis, and consultancy

💡 Who We’re Looking For

• You have a Master’s degree in a scientific discipline, preferably in Technology or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a structured industrial environment
• Knowledge of food, process, and packaging technologies
• Practical experience with food packaging materials
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Proficiency in key IT tools for data analysis (e.g., Microsoft Office, Minitab)
