📊 What you’ll do

• Lead assessments of packaging materials intended for food contact, ensuring compliance with global legislation and company standards.
• Review and validate supplier declarations and documentation.
• Define analytical plans to predict substance affinity to food and verify packaging assessments (migrations, NIAS, set-off effects, risk assessments, sensory evaluations).
• Ensure data accuracy from external laboratories and maintain updated records and reports.
• Prepare documentation including packaging specifications, assessment reports, and summary presentations for diverse audiences.
• Propose robust FCMD strategies tailored to different scenarios.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Regulatory, Packaging, Quality, Purchasing) and external partners (suppliers, labs, consultants).
• Support process improvements and contribute to the evolution of FCMD methodologies and best practices.

🔧What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Food Technology, or related fields.
• Proven experience in food contact materials assessment, packaging compliance, and risk evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of global food contact regulations and analytical techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven mindset.
