Description

We are looking for Project Manager to join the ECS Business Development team. This role is responsible for managing projects related to the improvement of sales and commercial operating model, particularly regarding processes and technologies. This involves managing and implementing project plans, ensuring task performance, timelines and allocation of resources are respected, and identifying potential project risks and related mitigation strategies. Further, the role entails contributing to define effective strategies for project cost management, managing all the activities and people related to projects of responsibility, coordinating with internal clients to ensure alignment of expectations throughout the project lifecycle, and verifying legal compliance. Lastly, the role demands monitoring KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness of projects, and providing reports to senior management with recommendations for improvement.

📊 Your day-to-day activities:

  • Leads internal projects focused on enhancing the sales and commercial operating model, with a strong emphasis on processes and technology.
  • Coordinates across teams and departments to ensure project alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Plans and executes projects aimed at achieving commercial goals, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Identifies project risks and implements mitigation strategies to support successful outcomes.
  • Contributes to project cost‑management strategies and ensures adherence to allocated budgets.
  • Manages a team of professionals, providing training and development to build required skills.
  • Monitors team performance, identifies improvement areas, and implements strategies to enhance motivation and productivity.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure expectations are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensures all project activities, materials, and communications comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Tracks KPIs and performance metrics, identifies improvement opportunities, and provides regular reports to senior management.

💡 Relevant skills & competencies:

  • Analytical expertise: solid understanding of sales processes & strong analytical skills to evaluate business processes, interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of M&A/Integration processes - 3/4 years of experience
  • Communication & stakeholder engagement: strong written and verbal communication skills, structured problem‑solving, and the ability to build trust, influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Digital, agile & adaptive mindset: comfortable working with digital tools and agile ways of working, with flexibility to operate in evolving and uncertain environments.
  • Language & tools proficiency: fluent English and full professional level of French required
  • Flexibility for extensive business travel
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and mediation skills in Italian and English.
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong problem‑setting and problem‑solving capabilities.
