Description
As a Competitive Intelligence Specialist within Business Intelligence & Consumer Insights, you turn complex market, consumer and competitor data into clear, actionable insights. You partner with Marketing, Sales and Innovation to anticipate trends, optimize strategies and fuel brand growth in a fast‑moving FMCG environment
📊 What you’ll do:
- Analyze Retail Panel DBs and Consumer Panel DBs to address business issues and identify opportunities (global & local).
- Collect and interpret market data, consumer trends, competitor moves and industry developments.
- Develop reports and presentations for senior management and cross‑functional teams.
- Monitor and benchmark performance, pricing and promotions.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Innovation to connect insights with objectives.
- Build and maintain dashboards with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Manage day‑to‑day relationships with data providers (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, YouGov).
- Act as a go‑to person for HQ and local teams on analyses, data and intelligence tools.

💡What we’re looking for:
- Strong interest in insights within FMCG; digitally savvy with curiosity for AI and tech innovation.
- Strong familiarity with sources of market databases (i.e. NielsenIQ, Circana, YouGov, etc…) and their data analysis tools
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
- Compelling storytelling and synthesis to influence decisions.
- Active listening, teamwork and drive to learn and grow.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
