MISSION

Do you want to work for an organization that represents two of the strongest coffee brands in the Baltics? We represent two famous coffee brands, Lavazza and Merrild. The company is on a strongly developing path and is looking for a Key Account Manager. The position will be located in the Riga office.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for developing, steering and managing the Lavazza & Merrild retail business to achieve sales targets. You will manage and develop category leadership status in your assigned customers. You will be accountable for the Customer Budget, Brand Plan, Trade Plan, Trade activation plan, volume forecast, SWOT, and Trade universe map for Key Customers.

 

Specific areas of responsibility
You will plan and implement the following activities in Key Customers: 
•    Building & implementing customer business plans to achieve business targets
•    Volume, budget and revenue management
•    Daily communication and customer management on a highly professional level
•    Proactively supplying sales & marketing colleagues with ideas and opportunities 
•    Merchandising coverage, market pricing, price distance analysis and pricing tactics
•    Deliver the best in-store execution quality via 3rd party services 
•    Flagging issues and customer problems and pro-actively seeking solutions

Your background

Competencies
•    Language knowledge: fluent Latvian and English (written and verbally) 
•    Computer literate, good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•    Strong negotiation and selling skills
•    Valid driving license 
•    Good analytical skills (interpreting numeric & qualitative data etc.)
•    Flexibility in adapting to fast-changing operating environment
•    Excellent communication skills (listening skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills)
•    Willingness to learn fast & help others learn
•    Ability to flag and escalate

 

Background
You have a minimum 3 years of previous working experience in FMCG. Preferably you have gained sales experience in customer management, negotiations and delivering results against set targets.
You have a high level of drive, you thrive when you are busy, and are passionate about making a difference. You are a team player, but also enjoy working independently. Finally, you like to work with many types of stakeholders and tasks.
