JOB OVERVIEW

At Lavazza North America, the Finance Manager - Away From Home (AFH) will play a vital role in reviewing the economic health and overseeing the success of our organization. They will manage all financial activities, analyze financial data, and provide strategic guidance to our executive team regarding the AFH channel. Their expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting will be essential in driving the company towards achieving its economic objectives. The Finance Manager - AFH will manage and develop a team of AFH Financial Analysts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gathers and analyzes data as needed to monitor and improve the current and future financial status of the AFH channel.
  • Analyzes market conditions through the review of securities transactions and price lists.
  • Reviews financial reporting structures, accounting procedures, and investment activities; recommends improvements to procedural, operational, and financial controls.
  • Drafts operational and risk reports for management analysis.
  • Facilitates risk management and insurance programs to minimize risks and losses.
  • Manages the flow of cash and financial instruments.
  • Develops and oversees procedures to safeguard assets, records, and loan collateral and securities.
  • Reviews, assesses, and oversees loan applications. Facilitates the approval and rejection of personal and commercial credit and loans.
  • Reviews collection reports to determine the status and outstanding amounts of collections; refers delinquent accounts to appropriate agencies or attorneys.
  • Prepares and presents financial and other related reports as required by company policy, local, state, and/or federal laws and regulations.
  • Plans and prepares AFH channel budgets.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and clients, assisting them when needed.
  • Gathers, prepares, and provides financial information to stockholders and other investors; assists with efforts to raise additional capital.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration required; Masters degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of related work experience required.
  • Ability to review and analyze financial documents and reports and to identify trends, risks, weaknesses, and other pertinent information.
  • Excellent management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use sound judgment to make decisions in line with company goals.
  • Ability to work independently.
