Commercial Strategy Analytics Manager

Job Purpose/Overview

The Commercial Strategy Analytics Manager position supports Lavazza across All Sales Channels (Retail, eComm, Food Service, Office Services) and products by creating and maintaining accurate data, reports, and analysis.


Location: New York City and/or West Chester, PA


Key Responsibilities

•    Working with cross functional teams (Sales, Demand, Finance, IT) in integrating new Commercial Planning tools and developing enterprise reporting.
•    Integral part of developing/streamlining reporting and new processes to report sell in/sell out data from multiple data sources.
•    Working with cross functional teams to discuss/determine which data will help the organization make better financial, customer service, and marketing decisions; determining the right approach for presenting data to management and which analytical tools offer the most potential.
•    Create reports and dashboards for the organization to use to monitor the company’s metrics and make decisions.
•    Develop data visualizations in the form of tables, charts, dashboards, and PPT slides that help the company track trends.
•    Responsible for accurate and timely delivering of daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, open order reports.
•    Support Demand Planning Analyst in maintaining customer hierarchies in SAP.
•    Ad hoc project work to support Commercial Strategy Director and leadership team: customized reports to support the commercial team and processes on sales, marketing, pricing, business planning, forecasting, data accuracy.



Job Specifications/Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business
•    Required: Intermediate/Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PPT), Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableu, etc), SAP
•    Preferred: Nielsen/IRI, One World Sync, Sales Force, Arkevia.
•    Ability to efficiently and effectively learn new technology (Proprietary Lavazza tools).
•    Merge, organize, and visualize complex data sets from multiple sources.
•    Well organized, can handle a fast pace working environment, strong analytical skills with an entrepreneurial business focus, responsible, and strong collaboration skills, always act with trust & integrity.
•    Being proactive in proposing analytical reports that will support the ongoing business needs.
