Job Purpose/Overview

At Lavazza, the E-Commerce Financial Analyst will have the responsibility to develop, track and report profitability of the Lavazza business under the E-Commerce channel. E-commerce is a fast growing channel that represent the online business that Lavazza does through different route to market (DTC, B2B, Amazon). As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it’s modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leadership team to make strategic company decisions.

Location: West Chester, PA  AND/OR  New York, NY

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial report for the management reflecting actual results and comparison vs forecast/budget; 
• Analyze trends through key performance indicators in order to give right guidance to the key stakeholders;
• Interact with E-Commerce Sales Department to build specific action plans to improve channel and customer P&L profitability;
• Manage pricing strategy and implementation for the specific channel;
• Work closely with Sales Department, Marketing Department and Commercial Strategy department in order to build business cases for new product launches;
• Assist key stakeholders on ad hoc analysis and Business Cases;
• Work closely with Sales Department and Accounting Department to better understand trade spend estimates for the closing period.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance or Management Information Systems 
• 3 years of related experience, must be within a large multinational CPG organization 
• Expert Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills; SAP knowledge desirable 
• Power BI or equivalent data management tools skills are a plus
• Strong analytical skills; as well as verbal and written communications skills 
• Excellent understanding of P&L preparation and analysis of variances 
• Position requires ability to quickly shift priorities to adapt to changing requirements.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines 
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and a high volume of work in an accurate and timely manner
• Able to travel to our West Chester office twice a month
