OVERVIEW

At Lavazza North America, the Customer Service Master Data Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining master data management solutions that enable users to optimize system capabilities. Uses knowledge of end-to-end data processes to analyse, cleanse, and enrich master data elements, and ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently between the users and stakeholders. Provides data governance and ensures data integrity by coordinating data management efforts across the organization. Troubleshoots issues related to master data management and identifies opportunities for improving data management processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees and manages assigned Customer Master Data, ensuring it meets departmental requirements.
  • Entry, maintenance, and quality control of Customer Master Data across various systems such as Salesforce and SAP, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Partners with other departments to establish a clear process to setup new customers and maintain them in SAP and Salesforce.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on master data management tools and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and data quality assessments to identify discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
  • Work closely with various business units locally and globally to gather data requirements and address data-related issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of master data processes, workflows, and standards for future reference and training purposes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in related field required  
  • 1 – 2 years of proven experience with SAP Customer Master Data transactions   
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce 
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Consumer Product Goods experience preferred
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office must, especially Excel
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
