Plant Quality Manager

We’re looking for a Plant Quality Manager to join our Operations Quality Department in Turin.

 

The role is responsible for managing quality control processes related to products make, buy and manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, regulations, and customer expectations.

This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality requirements and specifications, implementing related procedures and standards, and managing operations and product manufacturing quality control activities, promptly addressing deviations.


📊 Your Day-to-day Activities

  • Collaborates with other quality and cross- functional teams (e.g., production, procurement, engineering) to ensure alignment of quality requirements and specifications, effectively implement control measures, resolve issues and develop improvements
  • Leads the plant quality providing to his team the right tools to improve
  • Monitors and implements procedures and standards related to quality control on products and manufacturing processes, ensuring processes involved in production as well as product characteristics adhere consistently to quality standards, regulations and customer expectations
  • Manages quality control on products, including coordinating sampling, inspection, and testing activities on in-process and finished products , ensuring defined methods, procedures and protocols are followed rigorously
  • Follows new products during the development phase solving early issues and strengthen proactively the process
  • Manages quality controls on packaging materials, defining sampling  evaluating results and addressing the issues to the right owners

 

💡 Who We’re Looking For

  • You are able to effectively control the various processes involved in product manufacturing to ensure consistency, reliability and adherence to quality specifications and standards' requirements
  • You have experience in Product Quality & Performance Control, with a sound understanding of internal and industry quality standards and regulations, as well as proficiency in various techniques and methodologies for product sampling, inspection, and testing.
  • You know how to effectively manage the certification process for quality system or product conformity to requirements of industry-specific quality standards
  • Experience within the food & beverage sector is a plus
