OVERVIEW
The Commercial Strategy Reporting Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting Lavazza’s operations across all sales channels—Retail, eCommerce, Food Service, and Office Services—and product categories. This position focuses on creating, maintaining, and enhancing data accuracy, reports, and actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization. Additionally, the role will partner closely with the Demand Planning Team to identify new communication strategies, improve data-sharing processes, and enhance collaboration across all the departments involved in the S&OP process. The analyst will also embrace a mindset of continuous improvement, constantly identifying areas of opportunity and proactively changing existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly sales and open order reports.
- Design, streamline, and enhance new reports, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor critical KPIs and support organizational action plans.
- Work closely with the Demand Planning Team to improve data-sharing processes, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts and inventory planning.
- Support the S&OP process by providing accurate reporting, insights, and trend analysis to enhance collaboration between sales, supply chain, and finance teams.
- Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, including sell-in/shipments, sell-out/consumption, and financial metrics, to provide valuable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify the most impactful data, enabling them to use the data themselves to improve business decisions.
- Develop data visualizations, including charts, dashboards, and presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint slides), to track trends and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Oversee and maintain Master Data for customer and sales organizational hierarchies in SAP.
- Manage Power BI maintenance, ensuring data accuracy and efficient reporting functionality.
- Partner with the Commercial Strategy Team and leadership to execute special projects, such as customized reports on sales, marketing, pricing, business planning, forecasting, and data accuracy.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science
- Business reporting, and/or data analytics experience required
- Required: Advanced skills Business Intelligence tools, Power BI preferred, and in MS Office (Excel, PPT)
- Preferred: Nielsen/IRI, One World Sync, Sales Force
- Ability to efficiently and effectively learn new technology (Proprietary Lavazza tools)
- Merge, organize and visualize complex data sets from multiple sources
- Well organized, can handle a fast pace working environment, strong analytical skills with an entrepreneurial business focus, responsible, and strong collaboration skills, always act with trust & integrity
- Being proactive in proposing analytical reports that will support the ongoing business needs
- Familiarity and interest in using Artificial Intelligence to optimize ways of working
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Less than 20% travel required, able to commute between West Chester or NYC office as needed
