Job Purpose/Overview


At Lavazza, the Channel Strategy Analyst position supports Lavazza across US & Canada Home Channels (Retail and eComm) by diagnosing complex business issues, identifying key insights, and recommending the clear action plans necessary to achieve the business’ short- and long-term objectives.

 

Location: West Chester, PA   AND/OR  New York, NY

 

 

Key Responsibilities

•    Deliver insights & strategic actions derived from available data resources, i.e. IRI, Numerator, Amazon Retail Analytics, etc
•    Cross functional orchestrator between stakeholders to co-build the respective Channel’s strategic vision, drive execution and manage course correction actions
•    Lead Monthly Business Reviews and collaborate with all functions to drive an action-oriented meeting as a critical step in the monthly business planning process
•    Support all functional areas of the organization including: 
                       o  Sales Support: Drive business development opportunities with analytics and strategy planning. Develop, animate and track Commercial Fundamental KPIs (assortment, distribution, pricing) for Sales Team and leadership
                       o  Demand/Supply Support: Summarize key actions and communicate key insights to drive effective decisions as part of S&OP process
                       o  Marketing Support: Partner with the team on NPD business case development and commercialization strategy, Channel specific portfolio renovations, and channel activation

 

 

Job Specifications/Qualifications


•    Four-year college degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Business
•    3+ years working experience in CPG Trade Marketing, Category Management, Sales, or Marketing required
•    Experience supporting eComm & Retail channels and customers required 
•    Experience supporting Canada market & customers a plus

•    Intermediate/Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PPT) required
•    Experience with synicated data tools for Retail, examples - Nielsen, IRI, Numerator, etc
•    Experience with synicated data tools for eComm, examples - Amazon Retail Analytics, Market Share, Helium, etc
•    Ability to efficiently and effectively learn new technology (Proprietary Lavazza tools)
•    Strong analytic and story telling capabilities to diagnosis complex business issues, visualize the data, identify the insights, and recommend clear action plans 
•    Highly agile and thrives in a fast paced working environment with an entrepreneurial mindset
•    Strong collaboration and influence skills with the ability to work well cross functionally with all levels of the organizatoin - peers to Executives
